Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is a Filipino American actress, model television host, comic and host. Panganiban was dubbed as the queen of Drama in different media. Her condition became severe and she suffered organ failure including kidneys that didn't recover. Her condition forced her to alter her daily routine around hemodialysis as well as the peritoneal dialysate. After spending over 80 days in hospital and a few days in the hospital, she was near death to a long recovering journey. Angelica had been in dialysis for nearly a year before she was finally ready for the biggest operation of her life: a transplant of the kidney. The kidney she would receive from her mother. Angelica and her mother had the surgery to remove their kidneys successfully on 13 September 2013 at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from one another.
